Join me on my everyday journey as I share my love for the good, the beautiful, and the adventure in my family’s ordinary days.
This is my blog, and I hope this will be a little encouragement and inspiration for your every day. I am inspired by people who live life to the fullest and create a journey that is unique to them. I have always loved sharing what is unique to me: ideas, fun finds, organization, practical tips, our homeschool life, and places to explore, so here I am.
Wherever you currently live, hopefully, this blog will inspire you to step out of the hustle and bustle of life and encourage you to make room for what is truly most important to you: to stop thinking about what you want to do someday when more time, money, or resources are available. It doesn’t need to be fancy or complicated. The time is now!
About me: My husband and I moved from Northern California to Austin, TX, over a decade ago, ready for a fresh start in the Lone Star State. I have been an entrepreneur most of my adult life and love the freedom and flexibility it brings. I am a wife, a mom of two boys, a homeschool mama, and a keeper of many indoor plants. I’m a homebody by nature and love reading, journaling, organizing, and bringing beauty into our home. I am always up for a good adventure and have fallen in love again with the outdoors as an adult, thanks to my kiddos. We value our time in our home, but as a family, we have taken on a 1,000-hour outside challenge to replace screen time and getting stuck inside, so finding outdoor nature spots is our priority.
The homeschooling thing was never in our plans, but life can be unexpected with twists and turns. I always said, “I would never homeschool my kids. A brick…would have to fall on my head … to homeschool.” Well, 2020 happened, and the rest is history. We are so grateful for this unexpected part of our family journey and the homeschool community, which has opened up a world of possibilities for us.
Life is a journey, adventure, & everyday gift.

A community of friends & family you can count on is crucial, kind of like a first aid kit. 🩹❤️

I now always carry my mini-first-aid kit with me, and I can’t tell you how many times I have had to use it for my kids or someone else’s.

My 5-year-old finally turned six last week. 😭
I didn’t post anything, but I love this guy and am so lucky to be his mom. He is smart, full of energy, debonair, silly, and kind-hearted, and our family is better because of him. 💛
